The "Loud Mouth" Christian Revolution

Greetings Mi Amores!

I’m so glad that you followed the link because it shows God that you are in search of something more in life. You may be tired of living the sad, fruitless life of an average Christian or maybe you have yet to become a Christian. Well the good news is today all that is about to change. Your life is capable of change because of the NEXT DECISION that you make. That’s right it’s no magic trick or need to jump through hurdles for God like some would have you believe. Nope! God just wants you; all of you. He wants to be able to use and work through you with no limitations.

If you have yet to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior today please pray the following prayer with a sincere heart. God is there right where you are so take a moment and pray.

Lord I know that I have fallen short of what you require of me. I have not been the model human and I have constantly run away from and detoured from your will. But, today God I am willing to make you Lord of my life. I believe that Jesus came and died for my sins on the cross and with your almighty power He rose in three days. God help me die to self today; self will, self ambition, self desires and truly submit to your will. In Jesus name Amen.

If you just prayed this prayer WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!!!!! Now let’s get down to business because remember I said Satan doesn’t care that you’re saved because he believes that he can get you back to where you were (a few moments ago) with a few well executed temptations. The decision is yours so let’s prove him wrong!

Think quickly for moment about who you could tell about your salvation today. Who could you encourage today? Who could you show love to today? Once you get that person or people in mind make it happen. Let’s bless others today with our beautiful smiles instead of frowns, with encouraging words instead of curses, with patience instead of frustrated annoyance. You can do it! I believe in you! Remember the choice is yours and every time you decide to handle situations God’s way the angels root for you and God smiles and sends blessings your way.

Let’s go people of God! Let’s change the world TODAY by smiling and showing God’s love in every situation! Let’s make it do what it do!

I love you all.

Let's Take It From The Top (What Really Matters)

The status quo of current societal norms is built upon preceived resources and progression of “movers and shakers”. Everyone is out to make a name for his or her self, and if one decides to forfeit her position in the rat race she is labeled a failure. However, the revelation behind this constant movement is that: a quest to get anywhere without Christ is really a journey to nowhere. When we decide to stop trying to make things happen and follow Christ, we realize that with Him as a guide success will happen.

However, it’s important that we view our life successes from a godly perspective. If it is our goal to render success solely for fame, accolades, and monetary gain we have cheapened the favor that abounds towards all who follow Christ. The blessing of God is so much more than nice homes, vehicles, and wardrobes; these are the things in which the world find value. Moreover, we are not stamped with a red F (by God) if we are not adorned with glossy, celebrity-mimicked "success".

It’s time to reevaluate the motives of our goals people of God. Why are we really pursuing certain things? Is it for the edification of the Body or for temporary, selfish fixes? God judges the motivations of our hearts. So, regardless of why we verbally proclaim to engage in specified activities, God knows the truth.

This Week’s Tip: Turn off the T.V., put down the gossip magazine, log off of Twitter, and pick up the Word of God (Bible). All that other stuff is temporary. Let’s feed ourselves on the meat and potatoes of life, and not the Skittles and Dum-Dums!

Signing Out.

All Chiefs, No Indians: Creating a Power Team

Have you ever felt (or currently feel) that in your circle of friends or associates that you are always the one doing the feeding? Are you constantly giving your advice, your vision, your words of encouragement without reciprocation? Well, I’ve come to say that it’s time to stop the madness! When referencing the great visionaries in the Bible I noticed a pattern that surrounded their success. In order for the God given vision to be made manifest in the earthly realm, these men and women surrounded themselves with people who were willing to serve. Now before you think that this is some head trip understand that when God has packaged and delivered a vision to you it’s because that you are His servant. You have served, sacrificed and obeyed, and now He finds you worthy of carrying a vision. However, the vision will never be physically witnessed by the holder if he or she never has anyone around who is willing to help.

Saints of God it’s time to admit that we need help! Yes, God is the Source of every good thing but, He has put us here on earth together for a very specific reason. We are all a part of the Christian family, first because we believe in the Son and His salvation of our soul, and secondly so that we can help one another. Too many believers carry around a magnificent vision, but will never see it birthed into reality because the people that they share it with are jealous, unbelieving, unfaithful (or a combination of them all); leading to sabotage and miscarriage. We must surround ourselves with a Power Team in order for encapsulated visions to be showcased physically to the world. Christians must work together, and be willing to serve one another. Look at Jesus and His ministry on earth. He understood that the Christian faith would have had no longevity if He had no messengers to carry the Gospel. So what did He do; He went out and recruited some disciples!

Jesus created His very own Power Team that would minister the Gospel in the first leg of the race and then pass the baton on to those who would follow. And two-thousand years later Christianity is still thriving because of this methodology. With that said check your space people (refer back Get Out...) and really evaluate who you have around you. Your mission should be to create a Power Team of believers who will help in birthing the vision that God has given to you. However, not everyone will make the cut to be on this team; and that goes for brothers, sisters, bff’s, parents, Facebook friends and anyone else not willing to put aside ego in order to help in the birthing process. Because what members of a Power Team understand is that although they play a secondary role in the birthing of your vision, the perks and experience gained from their service will aide them in successfully accomplishing their visionary goals in the appointed hour.

So stop hating and help people of God. Understand that until you follow you will never lead. Get your minds right because the residuals of being a part of a Power Team are immeasurable! Let’s remove self and serve.

Peace good people!

Show Love First, Scriptures Later!

The Bible prophesies that in the end times there will be a great falling away in the body of Christ. It is my belief that this turning away from God has a lot to do with the current dynamics of the modern church. Within the sanctuary there is a vast influx of what I like to call “Bible Beaters”. These individuals have good intentions because they want to teach and convert the lost, but their approach is all wrong. Where a lot of seasoned Christians fall short is in the listening department. When sinners enter the church it’s an immediate pouncing that takes place on those who may only be looking for a hug at that particular moment. But, many miss these subtleties that are revealed by the Spirit because we are too busy trying to force feed scriptures to the “godly-malnourished”. Just think of a baby for a moment. During feeding times there are instances when Baby resists eating, now as a good parent you wouldn’t shove the spoon down the baby’s throat. No you would chug-a-chug-a- choo- choo (train sounds) until the baby associates eating with something fun and pleasurable. Once you reach this stage during feeding it becomes effortless, and much easier to introduce new food selections.

Therefore, people of God let’s follow the ministry of Jesus Christ during His time on earth. He had to be a pleasurable person to be around because so many diverse people followed Him and even invited Him to their households (see tax collectors, prostitutes, etc.). What Jesus has is love; He openly showed this to people from all walks of life. He didn’t immediately start quoting scriptures and pouring oil on sinners; He would be genuine and welcoming first! After He became acquainted with individuals (and they were comfortable in His presence) then He would teach them things of God. Furthermore, Jesus was so successful in His conversion of the lost that it aroused a growing suspicion among (get this!) the church folks. The church had more beef with Jesus (see Pharisees) than the lost world. Why?

The answer is very simple and is still relevant today. So many believers have been overtaken by the spirits of envy, jealousy, and pride that there is no longer any room for Christian love. Many “saints” are too busy wrongly judging others, while missing the prideful perspective from which they judge. Moreover, there is an influx of believers who thrive on making themselves feel better by downing those whose sins are on the surface. In turn, forgetting that if it had not been for the blood of Jesus they would strikingly resemble Mr. or Mrs. Such-and-Such. Get off your high horses people of God and let’s get back to the grass roots of ministry. Let’s show the world love first and scriptures later. Let’s actively listen to people and not just be preparing our rehearsed “holy spiel” within our minds. People will know when your evangelizing originates from a place of love or self righteousness. It’s time that we check ourselves (motives) before we wreck not only ourselves, but the lost as well.

We will be held accountable for our works. Make sure your love is genuine and your words are purely motivated! Remember when you show love you show God because He is love. Make sure your representation is bankable!

Be blessed good people.
